Job summary

Aura Living, a premier boutique multifamily management firm in Idaho, seeks a full-time Community Manager for its Nampa portfolio. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills to recruit and manage a service-oriented team of leasing, marketing, and maintenance staff.

The position offers an on-site work environment with standard hours, potential weekend coverage, and comprehensive benefits. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and prior Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years conventional/market rate property management on site experience.
  • Experience with Yardi Property Management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and retain a team of service-oriented property management professionals.
  • Demonstrate strong supervisory skills and leadership.
  • Effectively communicate, train, and motivate staff.
  • Be self-motivated with independent thinking while maintaining team relationships.
  • Apply strong business, marketing and property management sense.
  • Process problems and propose sound solutions.
  • Manage crises calmly and with conflict resolution skills.
  • Understand budgets and financial statements (P&L, budget vs. actual, cash flow).
  • Follow and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Maintain energetic and professional work environment.
  • Flexibility is essential.

We are looking for a Multi-Family Community Manager superstar to join our team.This exciting and challenging opportunity is for an individual with proven leadership skills, a history of working well both independently and as a team, and superior professional references from employers within the industry.

Position: Community Manager

Location: Nampa, ID

Compensation: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience

Status:Full-time, Non-Exempt

Hours: Monday - Friday (Weekends may be required)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to recruit and retain a team of service-oriented, business-minded property management professionals consistent with standards of being the best in the industry.
  • A dynamic leader with strong supervisory skills/personnel management.
  • Effective communicator, trainer and motivator.
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker while maintaining strong and loyal team relationships.
  • Strong business, marketing, and property management sense.
  • Ability to process problems and recommend sound solutions to such problems.
  • Calm and intelligent crisis manager with developed conflict management skills.
  • Financial acumen; must have some experience in budget preparation and understanding of financial statements (Profit and Loss, Budget Comparison, Cash Flow).
  • Ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Energetic and fun to work with.
  • Flexibility is essential.
  • Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check is required.

Attributes of a Strong Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years conventional/market rate property management on site experience, preferably starting as a leasing or marketing specialist with promotions to assistant manager and/or community manager.
  • Management experience must include the management of a team of employees consisting of leasing and marketing specialists and maintenance personnel.
  • A professional designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM), Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) or similar industry designation is desirable.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Yardi Property and Asset Management software preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
