Job summary

Avesta Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the physical operations of our Gorham portfolio. The role covers routine, emergency, and preventative repairs to apartments and buildings, with a focus on safety, comfort, and resident satisfaction.

You’ll perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting and light carpentry, manage work orders, and document activity using a company-issued phone. A reliable vehicle and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of general apartment and building repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting and light carpentry.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to complete work orders and log records via app.
• Strong communication and customer service for work in occupied apartments.
• Willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule.
• Reliable vehicle and mileage reimbursement for daily transportation.

Responsibilities
