  • Use tools safely; maintain equipment and follow safety procedures.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and suggest cost-effective on-site materials.
  • Communicate with residents and coordinate solutions, including after-hours emergencies.

Description

Responsible for maintaining the community to a high standard of landscaping, cleanliness, safety, and overall physical upkeep, ensuring all areas of the park comply with company policies and applicable state, federal, and insurance regulations. Must maintain the community with care while consistently modeling the organization’s purpose, values, and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties/Responsibilities:
Groundskeeping and Curb Appeal:
  • Mow lawns; remove weeds, brush, snow, leaves, and debris; and perform general groundskeeping duties.
  • Maintain community curb appeal by keeping exterior areas clean, orderly, and well maintained.
Cleaning and Turnover Preparation:
  • Clean homes and RV spaces to prepare for sale or occupancy.
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including laundry rooms, bathrooms, and clubhouses.
Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks, including clearing clogged drains and repairing minor leaks.
  • Install appliances, including ovens, ranges, washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
  • Perform touch-up painting and repaint of buildings, cabinets, or rooms as needed.
  • Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and perform other minor electrical tasks.
Equipment, Tools, and Safety:
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
  • Safely operate power tools and equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all safety and emergency procedures, adhering to OSHA-established PPE and compliance regulations.
  • Safely perform physical duties outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
Logistics, Financial, and Administrative Support:
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving furniture as needed.
  • Exercise financial responsibility when acquiring on-site materials and using company funds.
  • Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
Communication and Availability:
  • Be available to take emergency calls outside of established office hours and assist with coordinating solutions.
  • Engage regularly with residents and maintain positive, professional relationships with team members, residents, and vendors.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience.
Pay and Benefits
  • $20-26/hour DOE
  • Eligibility for Quarterly Bonus (Ranges $0-$750, depending on park performance)
