Job summary

Universal MH/DD/SAS is hiring a dependable Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one Community Living and Supports services for an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role helps the person supported build independence and participate in meaningful activities, following a person-centered plan.

Role requires a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and compassionate, dependable support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and person-centered support.
• Previous experience with IDD preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living while promoting dignity, safety, independence.
• Teach and reinforce habilitative and living skills per plan.
• Support participation in meaningful community activities.
• Document services accurately per agency requirements.
• Communicate with the person supported, family, and team.
