Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a Residential Counselor for the Jenkisson CILA in Lake Bluff, IL. The role is full-time, with a schedule Monday through Wednesday, 9am–9pm, at a pay rate of $21.35 per hour plus paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
