Community Living Professional

Salary: $20.84/hr

Job Type: Full Time & Part Time

All located in Charles County

Job Description

The applicant will support and assist individuals with daily living skills, prepare and assist with meal planning, building housekeeping skills, money management, personal care, and grocery shopping. Applicants must be creative, organized, and enjoy scheduling and implementing activities in the homes and outings in the community and focus on building connections within the community. A successful applicant will be reliable, hands‑on, with a genuine interest in helping others stay active, engaged, and involved in their communities.

Positions Available

Full Time and Part Time positions available.

Duties

• Implementing goals
• Monitoring and documenting progress
• Administer medications
• Assist individuals moving from room to room and around their homes
• Assist individuals with laundering and house cleaning
• Support individuals with their own choices
• Transport individuals on outings in the community of their choice
• Provide flexibility during the day when individuals are at the day program, including assisting with medical appointments if necessary or if individuals are sick

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Full driver’s license
• Clean driving record with 2 years driving experience and less than 2 points on driving record
• Experience working with disabled adults preferred
• Basic computer skills
