Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Community Support Coordinator to provide and coordinate community living supports for individuals with disabilities. You will assist in creating safe, healthy home environments, support health needs, and help individuals exercise choice and independence.

The role requires collaboration with the Program Director and staff to develop, implement, and evaluate supports. We offer paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience providing community supports to people with developmental disabilities or related human services.
• Experience in medication administration preferred.
• Ability to act as a role model for other staff.
• Desire to provide individualized supports to people with developmental challenges.
• Ability to make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities.
• Ability to work as a team member to maintain consistency and quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other staff.
• Physical ability to lift/transfer those individuals when required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Successful background clearance as part of onboarding.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills to document care and follow support plans.
