This class of positions encompasses work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility in the performance of liaison functions between City agencies, local residents, and community organizations, in order to: provide assistance, obtain participation and support for housing development and community development and implement public service programs. Performs tasks in the field or in an office, as assigned. Supervises staff. All personnel perform related work.
Under general supervision, performs duties involving liaison activities between City agencies, local residents, and community organizations.
This class of positions encompasses work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility in the performance of liaison functions between City agencies, local residents, and community organizations, in order to: provide assistance, obtain participation and support for housing development and community development and implement public service programs. At a higher level, performs the duties of Assignment Level I:
support for community development programs, to ascertain needs of communities and to determine
courses of action to meet those needs which are acceptable to the communities.
Note: Preference will be given to applicants with at least a high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization.
