Enhabit, Inc. is seeking a proactive business development professional to serve as the primary liaison between Enhabit and referral sources, including physicians, hospitals and health systems.

You will educate partners on Enhabit services to drive referrals and support post-acute care transitions to improve outcomes. Qualified candidates will have a healthcare business development background, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare admin, marketing, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales is required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing Medicare home health and hospice operations is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver license and automobile insurance.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems, senior living communities, and other providers).
• Educate referral sources on Enhabit services and program requirements to drive referral growth.
• Support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction; enhance care coordination with families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

Serves as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources including physicians, physician practices, hospitals, health systems, inpatient facilities, senior living communities, professional associations, and other healthcare organizations or progressional. Supports referral growth by providing awareness and education of company services and program requirements to referral sources, patients, families, caregivers and community partners to help navigate post-acute care transitions with the goal of improving patient outcomes, supporting care transition, and promoting exceptional quality and patient / referral source satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Required to have Bachelor's Degree in, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or a graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work. Equivalent years of equivalent work experience is considered in lieu of degree requirements.
• Highly preferred graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Required minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Required demonstrated experience and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence.
• Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
• Required strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • If Clinical:
  • Required to have and maintain clinical license, per state requirements to complete this job in accordance with applicable board’s rules.
• Highly preferred experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related healthcare services.
• Preferred previous experience using electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Preferred established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities and other referral sources.
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and be able to safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
