Job summary

South Sound Behavioral Hospital in Lacey, WA is hiring a Community Liaison to drive business development, build relationships with physicians, EAPs, and managed care, and maximize referral potential. You will represent the hospital, monitor referrals, engage with the community, and participate in marketing initiatives while upholding our mission and values.

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in healthcare business development/marketing with measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face of the hospital and its primary advocate in the community.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with primary care physicians, EAPs, managed care segments, and primary accounts.
  • Monitor referrals and admissions; devise strategic plans to maximize referral potential and drive growth.
  • Maintain an account management and contact system; track performance with data analysis.
  • Engage with the community to address patient-related issues and resolve concerns.
  • Participate in internal marketing initiatives and facility events.
  • Uphold facility policies and support quality improvement goals.

If you have a knack for building connections and a passion for mental health advocacy, this is the perfect role for you!Your Responsibilities:Serve as the face of the hospital and its primary advocate in the community, representing our mission and values to external partners and stakeholders.Develop and nurture relationships with primary care physicians, EAPs, managed care segments, and primary accounts through regular personal visits, phone calls, and other communication methods.Monitor referrals and admissions, devising strategic plans to maximize referral potential and continuously drive growth.Maintain a comprehensive account management and contact system.Measure and report on performance using data analysis, monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize business development efforts.Engage with the community to address and resolve patient-related issues.Stay informed about industry changes and contribute to ongoing SWOT analysis.Participate in internal marketing initiatives and facility events.Uphold facility policies and support quality improvement goals.Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:Education & Licensure: A Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in healthcare business development/marketing with measurable results and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is preferred.Additional Skill Requirements: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
