Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Community Liaison for Hospice Services in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. The role focuses on building referrals and partnerships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and families to expand census and deliver compassionate end-of-life care.

You will lead outreach efforts, educate patients and families about hospice services, and drive growth within the Gordon, Floyd, and Chattooga Counties territory. Requires healthcare sales experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years healthcare sales or marketing experience
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals
• Prior clinical experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, social workers and other healthcare professionals to generate referrals
• Conduct regular outreach to position the organization as the preferred hospice provider in the service area
• Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care and facilitate consent with empathy
• Meet and exceed census and growth goals through consistent, relationship-driven sales activity

Community Liaison – Hospice Services

Location: Fort Oglethorpe, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Territory: Gordon, Floyd, and Chattooga Counties

About the Role

A patient-centered hospice organization is seeking a motivated, compassionate Community Liaison to drive census growth and strengthen referral relationships across a defined territory. As the primary outreach representative, you'll connect healthcare partners and families with specialized end-of-life care — making a meaningful difference in your community every day.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to generate and grow referrals
• Conduct regular, intentional outreach to position the organization as the preferred hospice provider in the service area
• Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care — explaining services, philosophy, and facilitating consent with empathy and respect
• Meet and exceed census and growth goals through consistent, relationship-driven sales activity

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience required; hospice or palliative care background strongly preferred
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies
• Prior clinical experience a plus
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required

Compensation & Benefits

Pay

• Base: $76,000 – $82,000/year plus uncapped commission
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
