Job summary

Paulding County High School is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Athletic Staff as an Assistant Coach. The successful candidate will support the Head Coach, foster teamwork, and comply with all rules and regulations to create a successful program. Ideal applicants will have advanced knowledge of their sport and demonstrate leadership qualities to help develop students both athletically and personally.

Job description

• Must be a community member that possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to support the Head Coach of the program
• Ability to be an active member of the Athletic Staff
• Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes
• Comply with GHSA rules and regulations
• Ability to assist in the functioning of a successful program
• Provide instruction; assess and encourage student progress; manage the learning environment; comply with: state and system level regulations and policies; comply with the rules of the Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educators; other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or immediate supervisor.
