Community Options, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Community Integration Counselor in Columbia, MD. This position assists individuals with disabilities in managing life skills and provides personalized services to enhance community living.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and two years of relevant experience, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor’s degree. Competitive benefits include insurance options, paid holidays, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory record required.
• Employment contingent on criminal background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to increase their independence.
• Meet with participants regularly in various settings.
• Document individual progress towards community integration.
• Monitor health and medical needs of individuals.
• Administer medications and complete documentation.

Skills

Ability to establish supportive relationships

Experience with individuals with disabilities

Valid driver's license

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
