The Community Integration Counselor (CIC) is responsible for assisting individuals with learning physical, intellectual, emotional, and social life skills. The Community Integration Counselor provides individualized services designed to assist participants in managing and overcoming the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of two years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to establish a comfortable, supportive relationship with individuals.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to increase independence and daily living skills.
• Meet waiver participants regularly in residence, community, or office settings.
• Provide ongoing support for community integration efforts.
• Document progress toward community integration goals.
• Coordinate leisure and volunteer opportunities.
• Administer medications and ensure documentation is complete.
• Monitor health and report concerns promptly.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are accurate and timely.
• Cooperate with staff during inspections and inquiries.
