Job summary

Madera Community Hospital in Madera, CA is seeking a Primary Care Physician — Family Medicine or Internal Medicine — to build and lead a patient-centered program in a community with limited local primary care access.

Qualifications

• MD or DO trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• California medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Strong communication and relationship-based care focus.
• Experience serving rural/underserved communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive outpatient primary care for a diverse patient population.
• Preventive health and chronic disease management.
• Develop patient education initiatives and care pathways for Central Valley.
• Participation in quality-improvement and care-coordination projects.
• Optional inpatient rounding or leadership involvement.
• Help establish a culture of accessibility, warmth, and reliability.
