Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years experience in community engagement, public affairs, or related roles.
• Experience working with diverse communities and public outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support initiatives to build community relations and outreach.
• Attend meetings with civic clubs, nonprofits, and community groups.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and government offices.
• Support constituent services by identifying needs and guiding residents to resources.
• Build connections with community leaders and address office issues.
• Attend community events and write/present proclamations on behalf of the office.
• Assist with planning and logistics for events and programs.
