Job summary

Cincinnati Development Fund is hiring a Loan Officer / Relationship Manager in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead CRE lending processes, originate, evaluate, and structure loans, and serve as the main borrower contact through closing.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in business/finance/real estate and 3+ years in community development or CRE lending; experience with NMTC/LIHTC and nonprofit lending is preferred. Hybrid schedule with in-office and remote days offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field.
• 3+ years in community development or commercial real estate finance.
• Knowledge of NMTC, LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, and related programs.
• Ability to build relationships and develop business opportunities.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and apply underwriting criteria.
• Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with good time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with nonprofit or mission-driven lending preferred.
• Professional certification in community or economic development finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate loans by managing existing customers and developing new relationships.
• Guide borrowers through lending process from lead generation to closing.
• Analyze, underwrite, and structure loan requests aligned with risk profiles.
• Prepare loan packages for Loan Committee and Board and communicate decisions.
• Support loan closings and coordinate with counsel and banks as needed.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager and Portfolio Manager on construction loans.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring and resolution of troubled loans.
