Madison College’s Office of Student Engagement and Community Impact is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator to help expand the College’s visibility, presence, and outreach within its communities of focus. This position will represent Madison College in a variety of professional settings engaging a broad range of stakeholders: including students, community members, businesses, corporations, workforce and government agencies, education institutions including K-12, colleges and universities, community organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and state agencies.
The Community Impact Coordinator will primarily be responsible for cultivating and sustaining meaningful relationships to support community partnerships and enhance student enrollment, engagement, and success. In alignment with Madison College’s mission, vision, strategic priorities, and departmental goals, this role will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive community engagement strategy focused on intentional outreach, access to education, student retention, completion of credentials with the labor market, and upward mobility. This position provides leadership, recommendations, and support for community engagement initiatives both within the College and across the broader community.
The Community Impact Coordinator reports to the Student Engagement and Community Impact Manager.
This is a salaried, hybrid position that requires regular travel to Madison College campuses and communities within the district, along with in-person attendance at scheduled meetings and events. The role also involves occasional evening and weekend work, in-state travel, and limited out-of-state travel. The position includes the option to work remotely up to two days per week, subject to change based on Madison College policies.
