Related Affordable in Manhattan’s Chelsea area seeks a Local 32BJ Union Porter for a 144-unit multifamily community. You will perform upkeep, assist in unit prep, and support the maintenance team while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year Porter/groundskeeper experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to join Local 32BJ. Union benefits and a comprehensive PTO package are provided.

Formación

• At least 1 year experience as a building porter, cleaner, or groundskeeper.
• Must be willing to join Local 32BJ union.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• You’re committed to exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Perform upkeep and janitorial duties to keep the property in great condition.
• Learn new skills and work with the maintenance team on small repairs.
• Assist in preparation of vacant units with the maintenance team.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing duties.
• Inspect property and equipment regularly for proper functionality.
• Perform snow removal and/or landscaping as needed.
