Job summary

Action Property Management in Austin, TX, is seeking a reliable housekeeper to maintain clean and inviting common areas across our communities. The role requires attention to detail, independence, and excellent communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, restocking supplies, reporting safety issues, and assisting with special projects. Schedule typically Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4 PM with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a residential, hospitality, or commercial setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers, and other shared spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests or concerns reported by residents, guests, or management.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and designated areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleaning or event preparation.
• Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor with residents, guests, and team members.
