Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking an on-site Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe senior living facility in Winston-Salem, NC. You will clean common areas, resident apartments, and bathrooms, and support the housekeeping team with supplies and reporting needs.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and respectful interaction with residents and staff. Flexible scheduling including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Polite and courteous to residents, visitors, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate laundry equipment when needed.
• Report inadequate quantities of supplies to housekeeping supervisor.
• Use only approved cleaning products and store supplies properly.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and resident apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments; keep bathrooms clean.
• Clean apartments at resident move-out.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
