Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana seeks a Radiologic Technologist CT to join its professional team. You will perform age-specific patient assessments, prepare rooms, and carry out radiology/CT procedures with care and accuracy.

The role requires ARRT registration, Montana licensure, 1 year radiologic/imaging experience, BLS, and CT certification preferred. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with a patient-centered approach and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year radiologic/imaging experience.
• Preferred CT experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Current Montana license for Radiologic Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during procedures, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure, and performing all Radiology/CT procedures.
• Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or CT examinations.
• Utilizes radiology/CT equipment accurately, evaluates the quality of the study, and performs procedure management.
• Communicates with the patient, family, and other healthcare workers and contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
• Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements

• One (1) year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Preferred prefer specific experience and training in CT.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Certification in CT preferred.

Current BLS certification.

Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Current State of Montana License for Radiologic Technology required.
