Community Hospital Registration Associate - EVENING SHIFT - Revenue Cycle Patient Access

Work Type: Part Time

FTE: 0.50

Shift: Evening (5:00p-10:00p, every other weekend/holiday, 20 hours/week)

Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour

Summary of Position: The Community Hospital Registration Associate advances the revenue cycle process by securing patient information for accurate pre-registration and registration, verifying insurance and benefits, and reviewing regulatory requirements for various hospital visits. Responsibilities include registering patients across departments such as Emergency, Surgery, Endoscopy, Radiology, and Laboratory, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with hospital procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months minimum experience in a customer service setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical terminology and revenue cycle experience
  • Knowledge of medical health insurance, billing, and coding
