Job summary

The Public Health Services Division of Solano County is seeking a Physical Therapist to plan and administer physical therapy to clients with physical disability, educate patients and families, and establish home and school programs. Evaluations of patient progress and equipment needs ensure effective therapy plans.

This is an extra-help role, with varied hours and no guarantee of a regular position. Applicants must hold a valid California Registered Physical Therapist license.

Qualifications

• No experience required, however, applicants must demonstrate possession of and competency in requisite knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Possession of a valid license as a Registered Physical Therapist issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administers physical therapy to clients with physical disability; administers direct treatment; educates patient, families, caregivers, and others involved.
• Establishes home and school programs; evaluates patient, progress, and therapy plans and goals; evaluates and recommends needed equipment.
