Job summary

University Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking a program coordinator to assist the Director in developing and managing the CKC grant. You will collaborate with local school districts and community partners to design, implement, and evaluate activities that help eligible individuals enroll in Medicaid and CHIP, using health education methods that are culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate.

The role involves coordinating outreach with staff at health fairs, events, and conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant experience in health education or public health.
• Experience in community health promotion and coordinating volunteers preferred.
• English/Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director to develop and manage the Connecting Kids to Coverage (CKC) grant.
• Collaborate with local school districts, community agencies and other partners to design, implement and evaluate activities to enroll Medicaid/ CHIP.
• Coordinate activities with grant outreach staff at health fairs, events, conferences and wellness programs to bring Medicaid/CHIP resources to UH patients and the community.
