An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Community Health Nurse to support medication-assisted treatment programs. About the Position
This position is with our medication assisted treatment programs. Primary duties include responsibility for all aspects of daily dispensing of methadone medication, including preparation and administration of doses, and ensuring that all aspects of dispensing meet Federal, State and DEA regulations. Provide care management and education for individuals with opioid use disorder. Coordination of patient care with prescribers and clinical team. Nursing assessments including the need for emergency services to hospital or primary care.
About the Division
The Lane County Medication Assisted Treatment Program uses a holistic model of treatment that embraces traditional abstinence based recovery as well as harm reduction principles. We have a small, but dedicated team who provides medication assisted treatment services to help program participants reduce and ultimately end the use of heroin and other opioid drugs.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 4:30am - 3:00pm; including weekends.
