• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Public Relations or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in a community organization.
• One year of experience in community outreach.
• Experience in graphic design, website content management systems, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and other social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements annual communications plan.
• Manages all social media, web content, and promotional advertising.
• Maintains a monthly organizational newsletter for internal and external distribution.
• Releases articles and/or newsworthy items to the press on a regular basis.
• Works with the Chief Executive Officer to achieve outreach objectives.
• Develops outreach events and coordinates with CEO or designee.
