Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in health promotion, public health, nutrition, or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressive work experience in community education, health education, disease prevention, or related field.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide standardized educational material to community members in various settings.
• Coordinate and plan health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Conduct community outreach and education at schools, chapter houses, senior centers, wellness centers, and events.
• Assist with scheduling, logistics, and documentation of outreach events; support data collection and program evaluation.
