Job summary

City of Midland, Texas is seeking a Health Education Specialist to plan, implement, and evaluate education and training programs for community needs. The role collaborates with health specialists to assess needs and develop goals, coordinating with various agencies to deliver services.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience and preferred CHES certification. Valid Texas driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and design health education programs and training.
• Evaluate programs; research topics and revise curriculum modules.
• Present lectures and training to groups or individuals.
• Coordinate activities of consultants and agencies involved in programs.
• Participate in marketing and promotional goals; write grant proposals and seek funding.
