Background: The purpose of this consultancy is to support coordination, communication, and advocacy efforts for community health and the Community Health Delivery Partnership (CHDP). The target audiences include governments, private and public sector partners, implementing agencies, donors, and UNICEF offices. The work aims to document and communicate impact, advocate for country priorities, and showcase UNICEF’s support efforts. Responsibilities include producing communication materials, enhancing visibility, coordinating advocacy efforts, and liaising with partners and stakeholders.
Scope of Work: The objectives include supporting advocacy, communication, stakeholder engagement, organizing and supporting global coordination efforts, and advancing the work of the CHDP Technical Working Group. Deliverables involve developing key messages, advocacy tools, digital content, supporting key events, preparing briefing materials, and maintaining communication platforms. Specific tasks and deadlines are detailed for each deliverable, such as developing advocacy resources by April 15, 2026, and updating the CHDP website quarterly.
Qualifications: An advanced university degree in Public Health, Communication, Journalism, International Affairs, or related fields is required. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience, exceptional communication skills in English, experience with high-level event organization, stakeholder engagement, and familiarity with community health topics. Additional requirements include profile completion in UNICEF’s system, academic credentials upload, and a detailed financial proposal.
Other details: The contract is for full-time consultancy, with specific terms regarding travel, insurance, and compliance with UNICEF policies. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet visa requirements if applicable.
