Job summary

AHRC Nassau is looking for responsible individuals for the implementation of daily activities for participants in Day Habilitation programs. The role involves supporting participants in personal hygiene and helping them develop independent functioning skills.

Key duties include transporting participants safely, implementing habilitation plans, and advocating for their rights. A valid NYS driver’s license and experience working with the developmentally disabled population are preferred. Join our dedicated team in keeping our participants engaged and safe.

Qualifications

• Min. one year working with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
• Valid and qualified NYS driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid and defensive driving training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement habilitation plans for participants by reviewing records.
• Support participants in personal hygiene and independent functioning.
• Transport participants to and from community outings.
