Job description

Community & Growth Partner (AI Events & Ecosystem)

I'm looking for a sharp and driven collaborator to join me (Sahar Mor) in expanding one of the most influential platforms in the AI ecosystem: a fast-growing AI events calendar that tracks the most important meetups, summits, and gatherings across San Francisco (38k members), New York (3k members), and beyond.

This role starts as a part-time, 2-week pilot, with the potential to grow into a long-term engagement if there's a strong fit.

Over time, we may expand our collaboration into other surfaces like my AI blog, AI Tidbits, which already reaches tens of thousands of top researchers, developers, and founders. But the focus today is building something essential: the calendar at the heart of the AI community.

Example projects you’d own:

  1. Design and launch a sponsorship program for the AI calendar
  2. Collaborate with top event organizers to spotlight their work and grow visibility
  3. Build our online presence across social platforms and newsletters
  4. Create thoughtful touchpoints with top AI talent and contributors in the community

You

This role might look like Community Manager, Growth Manager, Marketing/Events Manager, or even Chief of Staff; I’m flexible on the title. What matters most is that you bring:

  1. Sharp writing and communication skills - clear, concise, and compelling
  2. People instincts - you're great with humans, both in-person and async
  3. High agency - you see what needs doing and make it happen
  4. Flexibility - we’ll shape the role together as we grow
  5. Ideally based in San Francisco or New York

Why is this special

  1. Work directly with a founder deeply embedded in the AI world
  2. Join a platform with existing traction and a highly engaged audience
  3. Get direct access to top AI researchers, builders, and founders
  4. Help shape one of the most exciting front doors into the AI community
  5. Option to grow into a strategic long-term partner across multiple projects

If this sounds exciting, I’d love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to build something people already love and help take it to the next level.
