Job summary

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a Groundskeeper for Turnberry Isle Apartments in Dallas, TX. The role offers hourly pay and monthly performance bonuses, with no prior apartment experience required for dependable, hardworking candidates.

You will help maintain the community’s cleanliness and curb appeal, assist with landscaping and maintenance projects, and support the team in turns and safety reporting. Outdoor work and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• No apartment experience required if you’re dependable and willing to learn.
• Experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, janitorial, or similar hands-on roles is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically active work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community.
• Keep sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and outdoor spaces clean.
• Assist with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Help maintain pool, recreational, and common areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help keep the community clean, attractive, and well-maintained.

Groundskeepers play an important role in keeping our apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and likes seeing the results of a job well done.

New to property management? That's okay.

You don't need previous apartment experience to be considered. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and have experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, janitorial work, or another hands-on role, your skills may transfer well to a career in apartment property maintenance.
