Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Groundskeeper for one of our Student Housing properties in San Jose, CA. The role is full-time and non-exempt, reporting to the Property Manager.

You will maintain grounds, assist with pools, and support turnover and resident services to ensure a clean, safe environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English, and physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional ladder work.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or property maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and guidelines.
• Good communication skills to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Keep interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and presentable.
• Water and care for plants, shrubs, and flowers.
• Assist with pool cleaning and basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Support turnover processes and coordinate with vendors when required.
• Provide friendly service to current and prospective residents and post newsletters.
• Inspect the property daily for hazards and address liabilities.
