Job summary

Children’s National Hospital Foundation seeks a Development Coordinator for Community Giving to manage community-based events and DIY fundraising, helping raise over $600,000 annually. You will support donor engagement, coordinate campaigns and events, and assist with donor meetings and communications.

Must build relationships with donors, handle program planning and provide administrative support while adapting to evolving community needs and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• 2 years related fundraising experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint; familiarity with fundraising software.

Responsibilities

• Support peer-to-peer fundraising, donor engagement and administrative tasks.
• Plan, coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
• Prepare donor meetings, deliverables and tours as needed.
• Assist with donor communications and general team operations.
