Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan and implement individualized speech and language therapies, helping patients overcome communication challenges. You will document progress, adjust treatments as needed, and celebrate patient improvements in a supportive inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA must be completed.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s with related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
