Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York in Troy, Alabama is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care within a collaborative inpatient team.

You will assess and treat patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning, while supported by a culture that values growth, education, and cutting edge therapy tools.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
