The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus is seeking a Part Time Group Exercise Instructor to join the Fitness department. The role requires engaging members, maintaining a safe class environment, and managing studio cleanliness.

A nationally recognized group exercise certification is required, with CPR/AED certification also needed. Responsibilities include leading classes, preparing music, and ensuring attendance is tracked weekly.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification is required.
• High school Diploma / GED preferred; CPR/AED is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage members in conversations and address them by first name; introduce yourself.
• Arrive ten minutes before class and conduct all classes safely and effectively.
• Turn off stereo equipment and clean up equipment after class.
• Maintain the group exercise studio, including water bottles and trash.
• Provide music for class; ensure content is appropriate.
• Maintain current exercise certifications and CPR/AED; renew if expired.
• Record weekly class attendance; minimums apply for early classes.
• Other duties as assigned.
