Skills

Knowledge of strength/free weight and cardiovascular equipment

Ability to provide encouragement to members

Experience in conducting fitness assessments

Effective communication skills

Education

Current Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization

YMCA Healthy Lifestyle Principles certification

YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning (recommended)

CPR/First Aid/AED/O2 certification
