Job summary

Neighborhood Health Clinics Inc in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Family Practice Physician to provide primary care following established standards, practices, and HIPAA compliance. You will maintain patient confidentiality, coordinate care, and participate in on-call rotations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Nurse Practitioners and administrative staff to ensure accessible, quality care for the community. Normal clinic hours with possible evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School.
• Experience in a Clinic setting preferred.
• Indiana State Medical license, CSR, and DEA license. CPR Certified. Board certification or board eligibility in a primary care specialty.

Responsibilities

• Manages the acute and long-term medical needs of patients by performing physical examinations and preventive health measures.
• Reviews patients’ records, charts, and other pertinent information.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify clinical problems and health care needs.
• Orders and/or administers medications and injections.
• Provides monitoring and continuity of care between clinic visits.
