Job summary

BallyCara is seeking a warm Casual Coffee Bar Assistant to join our Village Coffee Bar team in Scarborough. This role focuses on quality coffee, friendly service and positive resident interactions.

You will prepare high-quality beverages, serve light meals, handle EFTPOS and cash transactions, keep the area clean, and support the team in a fast-paced hospitality environment across 7 days a week. Experience in cafe, hotel, retirement village or aged care is valued, and availability across

Qualifications

• Proven barista skills and coffee preparation
• Experience in hospitality or aged care settings preferred
• Flexibility to work across operating hours, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, beverages and light meals
• Provide warm, friendly and professional service to residents, families and visitors
• Process EFTPOS and cash transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic coffee bar and kitchen
• Restock ingredients and supplies
• Work closely with the Coffee Bar Team Leader and Catering Team
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
• Keep calm, organised and positive during busy periods
