Job summary

Bonton Farms is seeking a Barista & Retail Support team member in Dallas. You will create a warm guest experience, prepare beverages, handle orders and POS transactions, and assist with retail merchandising and community engagement.

The role supports both beverage service and retail operations within the Coffeehouse, aligning with the organization’s mission to restore lives and ignite hope in South Dallas.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, coffee service, or retail preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and maintain consistent quality.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and occasional events.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers warmly, ensuring a positive and inclusive guest experience.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages in accordance with standards.
• Accurately handle customer orders, payments, and receipts using the POS system.
• Provide knowledge about menu items, retail products, and the mission.
• Assist in maintaining clean and inviting café and retail spaces.
