Job summary

Peak Point is hiring an Event Operations Associate to support nonprofit campaigns at community events, retail locations, and approved outreach sites. You will interact with the public, introduce people to nonprofit programs, answer questions, and encourage community participation to help events run smoothly.

This in-person role fits someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicating face-to-face, and contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with new people in public settings.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation, punctual, and dependable.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, events, promotions, sales, or fundraising is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, organization, and breakdown.
• Represent nonprofit partners at community events and outreach locations.
• Start conversations with members of the public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about nonprofit programs, campaigns, and initiatives.
• Encourage participation and support for fundraising campaigns.
• Help create a positive experience for community members and event attendees.
• Coordinate with team members to support daily event activities.
• Work toward daily and weekly team goals.
• Maintain a professional and positive presence while representing nonprofit partners.
