Job summary

The District's Lynnwood Event Center is seeking a Sales Manager, Social & Public Events to drive opportunities, tours, proposals and bookings. You will build relationships with community groups, nonprofits, and partners, guiding clients through the sales process from inquiry to signed contract.

Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Senior Sales Manager, you will help plan an engaging event calendar and maximize calendar utilization while delivering an exceptional client

Qualifications

• 2+ years in event sales, venue sales, hospitality sales, or related experience.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and convert inquiries into bookings.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Experience juggling multiple clients and priorities.
• Knowledge of event pricing, minimums, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for social and public event inquiries through contract execution.
• Conduct venue tours, prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and guide clients through booking.
• Build relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, promoters, businesses and partners.
• Develop partnerships to increase community engagement and repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft event packages that meet client needs.
