Beacon Hebrew Alliance in Beacon, NY is seeking a Hospitality Attendant to help set up and clean up after services and community potluck events. The role includes arranging seating, restocking stations, and assisting guests.

You will work before/after services on Fridays and Saturdays, with additional hours for b-mitzvahs and occasional weekday evening events. A friendly demeanor and reliability are essential to ensure a welcoming environment.

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Previous experience in event setup or food service is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move light equipment (tables, chairs, etc.) as needed.
• Must have basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness practices.

Mansioni

• Setup: Arrange tables and chairs for guests; lay down tablecloths and set up potluck tables with utensils, napkins, and plates; prepare and restock the food and drink stations.
• During Event: Ensure the potluck area remains tidy, refill cups and replenish napkins or utensils, direct guests to program areas if asked.
• Cleanup: Collect and clean remaining dishes, wipe down tables, sweep floors, dispose of trash, and store leftovers.
• Occasional Event Check-In: Check-in setup of table and chairs; use digital or paper systems; process POS payments using Square.
