Job summary

Reading Partners in Dallas seeks a Community Engagement Manager to lead a regional team of AmeriCorps Volunteers, drive volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and retention, and partner with schools and community organizations to expand tutoring programs.

You will strategize and manage a regional engagement plan, coordinate events, and ensure data-driven processes, reporting to the Regional Executive Director and National leaders. This role is full-time and mission-driven.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching AmeriCorps Volunteers and leading volunteer teams.
• Strong communication skills, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to recruit, hire, onboard, and train volunteers and manage partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional volunteer recruitment to meet tutor and student goals.
• Develop recruitment strategy including digital marketing and community events.
• Manage partnerships to recruit volunteers and supervise regional recruitment events.
• Oversee onboarding processes and data quality using Salesforce.
• Drive volunteer retention and engagement with clear annual targets.
