Job summary

Opportunity Partners in Minneapolis area seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to support adults with disabilities in employment, enrichment, or residential settings.

You will plan and deliver social activities, drive clients in the organization's van, and collaborate with case managers and referral sources to support growth and independence.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in human services.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.

• Plan and deliver social and creative activities.
• Drive individuals using Opportunity Partners' van to locations within the metropolitan area.
• Communicate and collaborate with client representatives, county case managers, referral sources, and peers.
• Coach and guide people with disabilities to reach goals.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Wage: $19.00 per hour

Job Summary:

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will work with people in the community to grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible. You will have fun while working and laugh every day with a great team!

As part of team, you will help our people with disabilities in the following areas:

• Plan and deliver social and creative activities
• Drive individuals using Opportunity Partners' van to different locations within the metropolitan area.
• Communicate & collaborate with the client’s representative, county case manager, referral sources, co-workers for Opportunity Partners supported services.
• Coach and guide our people with disabilities to reach their goals
• Grow and develop their social skills
