MoSH in Memphis is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to build and sustain relationships that expand the museum's reach, increase participation, and drive revenue through events and partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of three annual fundraising events, including Science of Wine and Science of Beer
  • Cultivate, manage, and expand relationships with schools, businesses, cultural organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders
  • Oversee the development and execution of museum events and educational programming that advance cultural, scientific, and historical engagement
  • Drive new business development by identifying and pursuing leads through outreach, cold calls, networking, and presentations
  • Establish and maintain strong partner relationships to ensure repeat bookings and sustained engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for group services and community partners, coordinating contracts, pricing, reservations, and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and analyzing feedback
  • Monitor and uphold service quality standards; provide guidance to staff, student employees, and volunteers on policies and procedures
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales activity and performance against established goals
  • Utilize CRM and database systems to manage customer relationships, bookings, invoicing, and operational data
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance programs, partnerships, and revenue-generating offerings
  • Support the development of sales strategies, policies, and marketing efforts to promote services, programs, and offerings

Job description

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for building and sustaining relationships that expand MoSH’s reach, increase community participation, and drive revenue through events and partnerships.
