Job summary

Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, LLC in Katonah, NY is seeking a Community Engagement and Public Programs Manager to support accessible public programs and community partnerships that deepen audience connections and advance Caramoor’s mission.

Work with the Director of Guest Engagement to plan Juilliard Extension lectures, family programs, and neighborhood events, coordinate outreach with Marketing, and ensure programs are welcoming, inclusive, and responsive to local communities.

Qualifications

Friendly, professional attitude with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in community engagement, event management and/or public relations.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners.
Represent Caramoor at community meetings, events, and external opportunities.
Identify collaboration and outreach opportunities to increase awareness and participation.
Coordinate with Marketing on outreach to engage communities not currently participating.
Develop program timelines and coordinate with Marketing on outreach and promotional needs.
Manage event logistics for public programs and community activations.
