Canandaigua National Bank seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to support philanthropic giving, employee volunteer programs, community partnerships, and related outreach. The role collaborates with staff, partners, and departments to execute engagement activities in Pittsford, NY.

The position requires a BA/BS in a related field and at least 3 years in administrative or communications roles, with strong writing ability and nonprofit knowledge. Travel to events is expected as needed.

Formación

• B.S. or B.A. in communications, PR, marketing, business admin, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in administrative support, communications, marketing, event coordination, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing written communications for internal and external audiences.
• Knowledge of nonprofit organizations, partnerships, charitable giving or sponsorship processes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers charitable contributions, sponsorships, and community investments.
• Coordinates sponsorship benefits including event registrations, ticket distribution, attendee communications, promotional materials, signage, supplies, and related fulfillment.
• Communicates with nonprofit organizations, community groups, employees, vendors, and other partners regarding requests, documentation, decisions, and program requirements.
• Provides support for bank events and volunteer activities as assigned by manager.
• Supports employee engagement campaigns and fundraising activities.
• Drafts internal and external communications on community engagement activities, volunteer opportunities, charitable giving, and community partnerships.
• Maintains department databases, calendars, files, community contacts, giving history, employee connections, relationship manager information, and other records.
• Supports Community Connections grant coordination and committee materials.
• Prepares presentations, reports, and materials for the Community Engagement Team, Executive Team, and other audiences.
• Supports the administration of community engagement systems and identifies opportunities to improve workflows, data accuracy, and reporting.
• Assists with the development of the annual community engagement plan, giving strategy, and department budget.
• Processes invoices, purchase requests, and other department documentation.
• Represents the bank at community events and volunteer activities.
• Serves as a professional ambassador for the bank in interactions with employees, nonprofit organizations, and community partners.
• Maintains the confidentiality of customer, partner, and Bank information.
